Thanks man! There was a LOT of trial and error with this one.
Once I had it inked I knew I'd have to do something to seperate Shredder from the ninjas because it was kind of a mess. I tried everything from a "mist" gradient between the two to "color holding" the blacks on the ninjas. I even tried using the halftone pattern in various other places and nothing was working until I got to this configuration.
Took a lot longer than I wanted it to, but the more I look at it the more I like it (which is the opposite of how this usually goes).
Jesus dude. That is awesome! Just all around from drawing to layout to colors.
